Maserati MC20

The MC20 Cielo is the open-top version of Maserati's mid-engine sports car, sitting above the coupe in the lineup. It uses the same 3.0L twin-turbo Nettuno V6 producing around 630 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The Cielo adds a glass electrochromic roof panel that can switch between transparent and opaque, keeping the open-air feel without a full convertible setup. In real-world driving the engine is genuinely fast with strong mid-range pull, and the DCT handles city crawling reasonably well though it can feel abrupt at low speeds.

For Pakistan, this is a niche import with essentially no local parts network. Any mechanical or electronic work would require specialist importers or overseas sourcing, and very few local mechanics would be familiar with the Nettuno engine platform. Resale is unpredictable given the tiny buyer pool, and ownership costs beyond fuel are difficult to estimate without established local service infrastructure.

The Cielo suits a buyer who already has experience managing exotic imports and has access to a reliable specialist workshop. The honest limitation is that running costs and downtime for repairs are genuinely hard to control in Pakistan. This is a track-day and weekend car, not a daily driver in local conditions.
