The Pathfinder 3.5L SV is a three-row family SUV built around Nissan's VQ35 V6 engine, a unit known for smooth power delivery rather than outright punch. The CVT keeps revs low on highways, which helps fuel economy on long runs, but in Karachi or Lahore stop-and-go traffic expect consumption to climb noticeably given the 3.5L displacement. The SV sits in the mid-trim range, so you get a reasonable feature set without the top-spec price. It suits families needing genuine seven-seat capacity and decent ground clearance for uneven roads.
In Pakistan, the Pathfinder is not as common as Fortuner or Prado, which means local mechanics are less familiar with it and parts sourcing can take time. The VQ35 engine itself is well-documented globally, but CVT servicing and transmission parts may need to be sourced through importers. Resale is slower compared to Toyota-based SUVs, and value drops more steeply over time in the Pakistani used-car market.
