Both use Mercedes-Benz derived engines and platform components, which gives the powertrain a refined, unhurried character suited to highway cruising and chauffeur-driven use. The 3.2L is adequate for city use while the 3.6L offers noticeably more pull at higher speeds. The automatic gearbox on both is smooth but not sporty — it suits relaxed driving rather than spirited commuting. Expect city fuel consumption in the 7-9 km/l range given the engine size and vehicle weight.

The Chairman W is a rare sight in Pakistan, which is its biggest practical drawback. Local mechanics have limited familiarity with the platform, and parts sourcing can be slow and expensive since most components need to be imported.
