The Changan CS75 Plus 1.5T DCT sits in the mid-size SUV segment, competing with the likes of Hyundai Tucson and MG HS. It is aimed at buyers who want a feature-loaded crossover without stretching to Japanese or Korean price points. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces a reasonably brisk pull in the mid-range, and the dual-clutch transmission shifts quickly on open roads, though like most DCTs it can feel slightly hesitant in slow city crawl traffic — something worth keeping in mind if your daily commute involves a lot of stop-and-go.
Changan has been expanding its dealer and service network across major Pakistani cities, and parts availability has improved noticeably since the brand established local assembly. Mechanics at authorised service centres are familiar with this platform, though independent workshop coverage is still catching up compared to Japanese brands. DCT units in general require clean, manufacturer-specified fluid changes on schedule — skipping this in Pakistani heat can cause long-term issues. Resale is reasonable for the segment but trails Toyota and Honda equivalents.
