The Suzuki Celerio is a small 1.0-litre hatchback aimed at urban commuters who want a light, easy-to-park car with low running costs. The GL is the base manual variant, while the GLX AGS adds Suzuki's Auto Gear Shift system — a robotised manual that lets you drive without a clutch pedal. In city traffic the 1.0 three-cylinder engine is adequate rather than brisk, and the AGS can feel slightly hesitant during slow crawls compared to a conventional automatic, so it rewards a smooth driving style. Fuel economy in Pakistani city conditions is generally competitive for this segment.

The Celerio has had a modest presence in Pakistan, which means parts availability is more limited than mainstream Toyota or Honda options. Mechanics in larger cities are familiar with Suzuki platforms broadly, but AGS-specific repairs may require a Suzuki dealership visit. Resale value is reasonable but not as strong as the Alto or WagonR in the same segment, partly due to lower volume.

The Celerio suits a buyer who wants a slightly more car-like feel than the Alto but still needs something compact and economical. The honest limitation is the AGS transmission's jerky low-speed behaviour, which some buyers find tiring in heavy stop-go traffic. Best suited to someone doing moderate daily city commutes.
