The 2010 Suzuki Swift is a compact hatchback aimed at urban drivers who want something smaller and more agile than a Corolla or City. It came in three variants: GL Manual, GL CVT, and the top-spec GLX CVT. The 1.3L petrol engine is modest but suits city use well, and the CVT keeps driving relaxed in stop-and-go traffic. The manual gearbox is more engaging and slightly better on fuel. Expect around 10-12 km/l in city conditions depending on traffic and AC use.

By 2025 this Swift is 14-15 years old, so age-related items need attention before buying. Check the timing belt, suspension bushings, and AC compressor — these are common service points at this mileage. The CVT units on this generation can be sensitive if not serviced regularly, so ask for transmission service history. Parts are available in major cities but not as widely stocked as Toyota or Honda equivalents. Resale is reasonable but not as strong as Corolla or City.

The GLX CVT offers the most features including alloys and better interior trim. The honest limitation is that spare parts require more effort to source outside Lahore or Karachi.
